Does anyone know if an aftermarket gas gage would work with the stock 914 tank sending unit?
Need a gas gage in my track car, would like to see if this would work?

Most aftermarket sending units are 0 ohms (empty) to 90 ohms (full) the
914 gauge is 0 ohms (full) , 90 ohms (empty). Just the reversed.

Actually, the 914 guage is not so easy as 0-90. Its more like 36-89 or some such. I forget but did this on my 914. Call Palo Alto Speedo or HollyWood speedo. They sell the right VDO gauge that will work and can adjust it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
