OK this is a new one for me.

Tach works fine going through the gears, (maybe possible slowing in the the 2900-3300 range.

Today on the highway (first for me and this car) the tach was getting hung up on certain rpms, say 3150, then get on the gas, I could go about 10 mph faster before it moved again, same with decel, if I held a constant speed, then started coasting, it would not move right away.

Seems to only happen in that range 2900-3300 ish. all else seems normal.

Any ideas? Car has a fresh tune, stock djet 74 2.0.

Does the tach needle stick or does it seem like the engine isn't running good? Almost sounds like a mechanical problem with the tach.

Engine is running excellent. So, yes, to me it seems like a mechanical problem with the tach as well.

I hate to swap it out, but may have to. It's a super nice tach, (silver dot no fading on the red ect)
