There was a thread on the "other" site that talked about a guy on vacation stumbling across the filming of the commercial. The former owner of the Yellow 914 introduced herself and talked about how VW bought her Teener and restored it for this filming.

Yep. Porsche said they will never build a car smaller than the Boxster ... And they also said there will never be a diesel in their range. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ...

I think the Porsche Bluesport was only a journalist's fantasm ...

Neat idea. I think hybrids should be using diesel engines, because for a given displacement, a diesel makes more torque than a gasoline engine.

I have a friend who sold his RX-8 (because of its poor gas mileage) and bought a Prius instead. He gets better gas mileage now, but the commute has to be positively dreary now.
