Sir:
Killing time looking through "What do you look like" and found this on your thread. Is this family or just car babes from the past? I know I've seen this same photo (or one close to it) somewhere in my wife's family book way back in the past.
Here's my wife's first family car and her Car Babe pose. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

As long as this thread's here I have a question for Andy.

How do you type on a US keyboard one of those funky lookin B things that means two s's (ss)?

You have to use ASCII code. Press ALT key while typing the four digits code on the numeric keypad

ALT + 0223 = ß

Thanks Johannes. I didn't know which ascii code. And it didn't work on my macbook either. Alt + S (ß) did though.

Your picture is flipped! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The sticker should read DDR (former eastern Germany) and the licenseplates always start with letters. I fixed it for 'ya ...

As for my picture, that's actually me in my first red sportscar with my two older sisters posing.

I usually just fire up "charmap" and copy & paste the characters i need. That way i don't have to remember the codes ...

I scanned the old family negatives backwards and been too lazy to redo 'em. What town? She's from Crimmitschau about 40K west of Chemnitz. Your old photos look like you were from East Germany, too.

Nope. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That picture was taken at my grandparents house in "Reckenroth", a small village about 60km north/west of Frankfurt.

It must be great to have fans and be loved! Those are German metric 22" wheels!
Small world. We lived south in Bingen back in 90-91, and still have family in law scattered all around there. Wish I'd had a 914 then to blast around those winding roads. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) If you ever get towards Texas, look us up. Bill

Not sure if that's a pom-pom on Andy's hat or if he's already sporting a mohawk and it's pushing the fabric up . . . . .

cool look, though.
