Heading says it all. What size do I have to set my camera for. Setting it's at

now is O.K. for E-Bay but not here. Tell me and I'll call Cannon and have

them tell how to size for both. Yah: I know as little about my camera as I do

my computer. Thanks in advance Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

It would probably be easier to resize the pictures yourself. If you have Win XP, there is a slick image resizer, which will integrate with your file explorer.

BLitZ:

Thanks for the help! Trouble is you don't know who you are dealing with.

A 71 yr. old fart that knows only enought about things electrinc , to leave them

alone. ( also doesn't spell well) I need the camera company to be on the other

end of the phone to try to change Anything. I just need the size pic. our site will

except. Figure it's smaller than E-Bay so set the camera for that and I will be

able to post on both. Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

try something like this:
http://www.tangotools.com/jpegsizer/download.htm

or picasa...

you don't want to take low res pictures, you could learn any one of these in one evening. move on to the next service until one makes sense to you.

anyway here are the settings you need to know:

•sRGB colorspace
•540x405 or a similar proportion
•180 dpi
(then save the file, about 140k)
•jpg quality 8
•baseline: standard

your options should scripted by the service, you do nothing but put in a pic and get a copy to that size. done and done.
