Hi!
I recently had my car towed because the engine would stall more and more often to the point where it would stall as soon as I would restart it. I then discovered that my 037 MPS was leaking, and I thought that replacing it would solve the problem, but it did not. What else should I check? Pressing down the gas pedal seems to help a tiny bit, but the engine still stalls. I replaced my MPS by a 043 MPS that seem to have been re-calibrated to work with a 037 ECU, if such a thing is possible because it is coming from a '74 914 which had a 037 brain in it. Maybe the problem is the MPS again, but since this one is holding vacuum, I would find it strange that the symptoms are having are the same as with my leaking MPS. Cheers! JF |
