After rebuilding my transmission ar the Dr.'s SoCal clinic, and repairing the alternator problem, I finally took an afternoon to drive Mulholland drive.
Great twisties and a number of scenic turnouts. It's like Mulholland drive was designed to be driven in a 914. Overlooking the Hollywood Bowl  Downtown LA. If you look closely, in the center of this picture you can see the Capital Records building (round).  My car (including all five forward gears and a reverse gear. Dr. Evil - I am worthy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif))  The road was pretty empty, so I may have exceeded the 25MPH limit by 1/2 a mile or so on occasion...
