Ferrari Dino kit on top of a 75 (that has a 71 vin) that we bought for the molds.

We produce driving/racing simulators, this Dino body will be excellent for a racing sim.

Check out how the engine was held in.... blink.gif

And stop linking to photobucket images! poke.gif

PS: I really need to start writing a script that sucks all those offsite images down and adds them here properly ...

Those are racing cables holding that engine in place there.

Andy:That would be REALLY cool, because whenever I try to add images using the attachments bar, it says it's too big when they clearly are not.

Are you planning to sell this kit? or parts of the kit?
I might be interested in the front end only...

No, but almost everything else on the car is potentially for sale.

The kit is the only reason we bought the car.

while you're at it... write one to allow you to add multiple attachments in one click poke.gif

that's the only reason I use photobucket. selecting and manually adding each one individually is a slow process.

Thats a cool kit! Too bad you cant finish that one for the street. I would love that car for a project. driving.gif Nice find!

Too big in size or too big in dimensions?

1024 x 768 at 72dpi works very well for images here.

Standard HTML file upload does not allow for that. You can have multiple input lines with their own browse button but the user still has to select each file individually.

We would have to go to a Java based upload to get around that.

I kick out on file size limitations at anything over about 120kb. Irfinview allows me to save at lower res, but I have to go one at a time- open the file upload, then open the pic with iview, resave as a new name at reduced res (start at 1.2 mb usually), then attach, etc. Later I have to remember which files to delete. type.gif

I've got a friend that has the Kelmart GT kit. It looks like a Ferrari and sounds likea Bug. It is way funny to watch people go out of thier way to check out this cool Ferrari and find out that it is a VW...

If you start making these and have any bad results on noses, please contact me before you pitch anything. I have been watching for a bad FG front end from a while. We want to use one as an awning over the door of the shop.

That is an American Eagle Dino body. Only a few made. I tried to get one of those, and the guy acted like he didn't want to sell any.

I only saw pics, but IIRC it was a decent Dino knock off.

I'm sure the guy who built (or owned) the molds is /was a member here....
