Car is sold now, thanks,

For sale my 1974 2.0 4 cylinder 914, asking $5500 Marietta, GA
I’m selling my 1974 2.0 4 cylinder 914 because I have not been driving it much since having a kid. The pictures make the paint look better than it is, but I tried to show what I think are representative cosmetic flaws. Currently has Megasquirt II fuel injection. I also have the original working stock D-jet. Offering the car first with the Megasquirt still installed to see if there is any interest, otherwise I will re-install the D-jet over the holidays.

I’ve added details of the car’s condition bellow. I performed all of the work myself since I purchased it in 2004 and have receipts for parts installed. I’ve only driven it around 3,000 miles since purchase. I have some records from previous owners indicating the car was originally from California, then moved to Florida and finally Georgia where it is now.

OK, here are some hellhole pictures, first two from hellhole and second from driver side. I found it very difficult to get a picture down there between the AC compressor and the battery. As described in the ad above, the rear window leaked at one time, the rust and epoxy that can be seen is from a metal patch added on the inside of the car that was epoxied in place. The patch is above the hellhole, but its hard to tell from the picture. The hellhole passes the poke test with screwdriver.

Planning to remove the megasquirt in a few weeks and will remove the battery at that time for better pictures.

Nice car. Nearly an exact twin to mine, except my interior is the darker brown and my Mahles are unpainted. And a good price too - very close to what I paid, and mine has a Weber progressive carb, no A/C, and no extra console gauges.

I sent you an email. I'll be back in ATL on Friday (travelling for work this week) and would like to arrange a time to view the car.
