Woo Hoo! You got them new rubber covered rotational jackstands. Sweet.

After taking a few spins around the block and hitting the throttle (spiritly) in 2nd gear the teen'r feels like it's going to run circles around it's stable mate. Now I just wish winter wasn't coming. This car is going to be fun aktion035.gif

Yup, putting an access panel on the firewall made it Soooooo much easier to work on the front of the engine.

I have to admit, I watched it three times. It'll be in my dreams tonight, but it will be blue, I'll be driving!

Sad, but I used to dream about hot girls

Congrats to you! Welcome to the shit eating grin group, first drives are once only things, real nice looking car. How noisy is it with that access panel? Seems like a pretty good idea to me.

I don't know yet, I drove around with the panel off. The panel that covers the hole is made from a piece of a stock firewall and will be covered with Dynamat Extreme. So I wouldexpect the noise level to be minimal.

My car is not quite as pretty as yours,, but I DEFINATELY can relate to breathing some life into some thing that's been sitting sooo long. My car took a little longer than yours, and is nowhere near as nice.

CONGRATULATIONS for driving her under her own power!
