Wow, as close to L32K 'Phoenix Red' (orange, actually) as you're gonna get in a new Porsche.

It's the tangerine of the 914-6 GT
Do a search I've seen an old post of all the colors and codes with big swatches of color. Here's a link to look at. there might be others.

Looks like tangerine with a little pearl in it.

The 914 wears that color, as well as yellow and bright green, better than the Cayman does. Without the chrome bumpers and black rocker panels and valences that the typical 914 has to offset all that color, the Cayman looks too much like an orange, lemon or mint jelly bean or throat lozenger.

I vote phoenix red. the car I race is the mighty 10jereen so I see it alot and that aint it

It looks a lot like "OrangeRot Met" 1A8/1A9 which was on the 2001-2002 911s & 986s

My 914 is painted "light red", a special order 911 color in 1971. It looks orangy in low light and on cloudy days, and more red in bright sun.

I would call this color oversaturatedinphotoshop.
The picture Was shot at sunset. This technique gives you more vibrant colors and contrast. You would be desapointed if you see the car for real.
