Droped in my engine but I forgot to lable 1 wire. 75 914 with 1.8 It is the heavy single red wire comming out of the alternator side of the engine tin along with the 3 prong wire that goes to the relay board. I have no idea where it goes? Can anyone take a look? Thanks.

If it has a ring terminal on the end of the wire, it goes to the top post on the starter solenoid along with the positive battery cable.

RED wire should go to the starter. See track 80 in the attached electrical diagram
