Does anyone know if the leatherette vinyl on a center console is different for 73-74 vs 75-76?

I have a '73 and my six conversion is a '76 - the consoles look the exact same.

As I said James.....the vinyl is different, as well as apparently the stitching went to the same heat-seam from stitched seams, as on the seats after the 74 MY.

The late temp guage in late 74 has a smaller red band than the 73 yes. The rest of the gauges are the same. You could look on the back of them for date stamping. The vinyl for all 73 and 74 are the same and 75-76 different in the so called basket weave as well as the smooth

BTW - I passed on a VG console from a 76 back then due to the different vinyl.

Hey Folks, just so nobody goes off with wrong info on this same subject....

...I stand corrected by a different answer than above posted from George (see below). Either I wasn't clear when I first asked, or George thought I was asking about the general upholstery differences.

like I said . . . oh well, it's nice to have confirmation I'm still capable of sitting in both of my cars and identifying what's the same and what isn't
