Hey Folks, just so nobody goes off with wrong info on this same subject....
...I stand corrected by a different answer than above posted from George (see below). Either I wasn't clear when I first asked, or George thought I was asking about the general upholstery differences.

all consoles from the factory had heat seamed stitching along with
the plastic profile under it and smooth vinyl that did not change
from 73 when the consoles were first introduced until 76 when the
