Often wonder what happened to my old cars, once they found new owners. I tracked down 3 of my old 914's, but still can't find two of them., if you know these guys, or where the car is now, I would appreciate any info.

1974 914, Blue, black int, chrome bumpers, sold to james Cherry of Jacksonville, NC in 2002. he came to New orleans LA to drive it home. VIN 4742909528.

1970 914-6, black respray over the original orange. sold to Jack Russo of martinez, CA, in 2002. VIN 9140432497.

Just curious, because I came across old pics of these cars during restoration.

Both VINs are in our database. That may get you started!

Thanks for the tip on the database. The entry for the 914-6 is from me, and Im afraid that may be the last we hear of that car. I got a call from a wrecker a few years ago who said he had the engine from that car.

The 1974 is in there though, and belongs to a member! That was a very clean, rust free car. Glad she's still out there!
