That is about the same mileage as the one I just blew up! Can you check on that for me Jeff?

Give me your "core" and I'll $ell it back to in a a week or so. smile.gif

Have you drained the gear oil yet? Find anything?

Might well be cheaper to fix the trans you have.
Remeber the bell housing on the Carrera's 915 has a cut out for the DME sensors, SC and ealier 915's do not, that limits you to 1984 thru 1986.

Buying a whole core might be the cheapest way to replace the bonzai'd gears Jim... No drain plug yet. Meetings and stuff... Got your name tag though! biggrin.gif

Sweet. I'll be able to tell who I am!

They seldon take out gears, usually just syncros, dog teeth and sliders (similar to the 901s we saw on Saturday).
Occasionally a bearing or a bearing reatiner plate gets trashed.
Ron has plenty of used parts.

Sweet! Those gears look pretty stout now that you mention it. I have plans for Saturday but Friday and Sunday afternoon could be engine/transmission drop time...

The one attraction to Eddie's is the LSD. Mine is very probably rebuildable. I will drain the juice tomorrow and see what carnage comes out.
