Anyone know off the top of their head how thick the intermediate plate is?

According to my tape measure it's exactly 1.5". I don't have any calipers here to get a more accurate measurement.

I just measured two of them and got 1.495in - 1.496in

got a measurement on the other two dimensions? How big of chunk of Al do I need?
