I have a 1.7 and am running dual 40 webers it also has a 009 distributor. I want to swap out the dizzy for a Bosch SVDA 034 Distributor with Vacuum- and Centrifugal-Advance and 3BOS4U1 Electronic Ignition. Am I making the right decision on which distributor to purchase?

That may be a better advance curve than the 009 but remember that you will need to have a carb tapped for vacuum to get a signal for the vacuum side of the new dizzy.

Is there a better dizzy for what I'm running then the Bosch 034?

205AA off a 1.8 from 74. more advance without the retard on #3... but really the 1.7 djet dizzy will work well too.. the stock dizzys are better than the 009 and 050. the mallory is probably still better, but $$
