Are the heater/defrost levers located on the dash interchangeable between years? for example, will a late apparatus fit to a early car?

It seems to me the only difference is the front appearance with the appearance of text in the later models.

99% sure they are interchangeable. I know mine it out of a 74 and works fine.

Thats what I would think. Maybe the wiring is a tad bit different, but even so. I'm just making sure I'm not missing anything...

I put a '74 into my '70 car without a problem. You'll be missing some wires for the lights in the later style controls. Wasn't a problem for me as i also upgraded to a '74 main car harness ...

Andy is correct. Fit and function are all the same. Wiring is a little different but easily modified.

IIRC, 3 different faces, but all should work the same.

I think they're talking about the dash controls Mark.

Looks like you figured that out before I posted. Nevermind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
