Hey,
there is something familiar about this buggy
there is something familiar about this buggy
that cooling smokestack seems a little over the top, here's my 2.0L type 4 sand rail. I built the engine a few months ago, and she really hauls @$$!! Street legal of course. 
I got the spiral in the wrong direction...

He probably uses it in the sand and needed to find a way to keep dirt and grit out of the cooling system.
Looks like it's got enough carb for another four cylinders.
