The WCR 2010 - Teeners at Tahoe planners would like to publicly thank our sponsors as they step up and donate. We believe that transparency is important so our sponsors know that we didn't just take their donation and bolt it to one of our own cars. With that goal in mind, this thread is where we will announce what was donated and by whom, and after the event - who took their donation home. In the past, many forms of distribution have been used but we have decided to go with a straight drawing. Your entry gets your name in the hat and throughout the event, we will be drawing names and handing out the great things our sponsors have donated!

Please don't respond to this thread unless you have won one of the donated items or until after the event - Thanks!!!

The first sponsor we have to announce is Bruce Stone. Bruce is one of our member vendors and though he doesn't really have a business name - many of us have been helped out by Bruce and his son in the past. You need it, Bruce either has it or will find it for you! Bruce has agreed to donate a couple sets of his rebuilt pedal clusters and maybe more. I will add a picture of Bruce's donation when it arrives! See you and your Teener at Tahoe!

A big 914World thank you to the Yopu Store... Each registered participant at WCR will be getting a 914World badge and Ms. Yopu will be providing some financial support as well as BRAND NEW 914's to be given away in the drawing! Ok, so they are Matchbox 914's but they are way cool and she has managed to find 30 of them so far! She will also be giving away some 914World T-shirts (pending admin approval).

The umbrella cover has arrived! If I don't personally win this - I will have to buy one with one of the 50 or so discount certificates Perry has included!

Alright! The goodies are starting to roll in! Yesterday the USPS dropped off a box from 914 Network a division of Q-Snap Corporation. Most of you guys know this organization as Perry Kiehl maker of the 914 Umbrella Cover. Sure enough! Inside that box was just that, one of Perry's Umbrella Covers.

Thanks to Perry Kiehl and 914 Network, some lucky person will be going home from WCR2010 Teeners at Tahoe with a new 914 Umbrella Cover and all they had to do was register and show up! Throughout the event, we wil be pulling out the jar with names of registered attendees and drawing out a name. Then, we pull out the other jar with sponsor gifts written on them and that person will get what we draw. Some great stuff here guys! Get your registration in! Perry has also included a 10% off certificate for buying his Umbrella Cover for either your 914 or your 911! Should be one for each of us here!!!

Quick note to the asshats in the crowd. The car does not come with the cover. blink.gif

Just heard from Paul the SPUNONE and he is sending us some of his gauge rings! Paul makes some innovative aluminum products and if you can think of something you need done in aluminum - you should PM Paul through his Spunone screen name. Here is some of Paul's work!

WOW!

Yopu has put together 30 of the 2010 Matchbook 914! She is still looking for more too but that means at least 2/3rds of the 2010 WCR Teeners at Tahoe registered participants will go home with a new 914!!! Thanks to the Yopu Store in your Member Vendor Section....

Just an update...

Today I received two boxes from PMB Performance and you know what that means! Brakes! Besides providing some calipers for us to give away at WCR2010 Teeners at Tahoe - Eric Shea the proprietor of PMB will be putting on a brake seminar. You don't want to miss that.

I got a box from Spunone and in it were some of Paul's famous gauge rings... These will be going home with some lucky Rambler.

As I previously mentioned, we got a box from Perry Kiehl with one of his great Unbrella Covers. Ooooh! I hope I win that!!!

We have back issue sets from Excellence Magazine with 914 specific articles on Paul Sayegh's beautiful black 3.6 liter 914. If you're following the articles, you don't even realize how beautiful this car is. And, it will be at the event!!!

JGara has offered some of his wine and Mark should be picking that up.

Mark tells me he got a huge box from Chris Foley with lots of Tangerine Racing goodies.

Lots to see, lots to do, lots of great support from our Member Vendors and Excellence Magazine.

See you at WCR2010 Teeners at Tahoe! biggrin.gif
