My fuel pump died last week on my 74, so I did a little searching around and found a great pump sold at NAPA. Installed it this morning and I love it. Much quieter pump than the solenoid style I had in there before and the car seems to run much better too. The old pump was probably the wrong pressure rating. I'm running Weber 34 ict's.

I was really happy when I installed my Pierberg. Same results as what you got, much quieter and better pressure.
