One of my lights has 2 wires coming out and the other has 3 wires. Does anyone know if this is correct. Also, does anyone have that small metal clip that goes on the bottom of the light. There is one on each fog light and iyt has a small screw hole in it.

Yes, it is correct. Look at your 2 harness' comng out of the car to connect to the fog lights. One harness has two and one has three wires, the common one being the brown ground. You take the fog light with the proper no of wires and install it closest to that appropriate harness. The clip is hard to find but necesary to hold the outer ring tightly. Perhaps other members have extras.
