Not the most exciting video, but it was fun for all of us to hang out there on a saturday and get under the skirts of each other's machine.

There was 2 914s, a Euro SC 3.2, 3.6 Turbo 'Stock', a few 993s and a modified 911S.

For me...I am the white 914....82 RWHP is more than enough wink.gif

It's a quicktime movie, you need to have quicktime installed. if not, go to apple.com and download it.

Dude! Pesky had 243 or 246 RWHP!!! What does he have in his car! Sweet!!!

for any of you in the area who might like to take advantage of this, at last check, there were still spaces available for Riesentöter Region's upcoming Dyno Day at Cyntex.

for more details, check out the RTR website - there's a flyer and application form. preference will be given to RTR members but i have no reason to believe anyone would be turned away if there are spaces available.

the event is May 8 2004 and Here's the RTR Website. $90 for 3 pulls, the proceeds go to a local charity. Cynergy's dyno is a -2 wheel drive- dyno, so sorry - C4's will be out of luck ...

i expect to be there in spectator mode, i know i'd be too depressed to know how little power i'm actually producing from my tired ol' 2,2E...

Pesky has a modified 3.2 in his purple beast.

I will post my dyno sheets as soon as I scan them in. It seems that I am running really rich. Thier Tech said "give me your car for a day and I will get you another 15 HP"
goobu
I should also note that my 914 weighed in at 2062 lb with a full tank of gas. It was the lightest of all the cars...of course smilie_pokal.gif

Anyone know how many gallons in a standard 914-4 tank?
Bleyseng
Ah, doing what? putting on a header? 82hp at the rear wheels is pretty good for a 2.0L at the rear wheels.
Adjusting the MPS might get you 1 hp
Taking the aircleaner off might get you 1hp

She already has headers and carbs.

He said "I will jet them and that should give you 15 HP easy"

They are all salesmen !
Bleyseng
Then you should get more hp even if you have a stock cam.

Thanks again goobu. The purple 914/6 sounds just like my car does (did/will/someday/again). I've listened to it over and over and over...

all 914 tanks (except the 100-liter GT's...) are 16,4 US gallons -- 62 liters including a 6-liter reserve (that's where the light's supposed to come on.)
Brad Roberts
Interesting.

I normally get 85hp at the rear wheels with a header/K+N on a stock worn out 2.0 with No tuning other than the tune it gets for the street.

LMAO, I won a trophy at one of my regions dyno days for "Lowest Horsepower" I think I made 134 RWHP in my rebuilt 911T

Ive subsequently rebuilt that same 2.2 engine to produce 200rwhp.....

On another note, There is soon to be another Dyno available in the NYC area... my friends shop is presently installing and eddy type dyno rated at 1500hp...this type of Dyno is much more useful than an inertial Dyno as a tuning tool..

Ill take some pics and let you know when it is up and running
