Hello,
I have been trying to find the rubber sealing sleeve (as the factory calls it), for an early tail shifter, it is the rubber bellows for the shift rod where it attaches to the plastic cover on the body side.
This item is NLA, I was able to find a replacement but as you can see in the photo it is junk.

Are you sure it's a new repro? ... looks more like a used one.

I'd call George about that ... maybe they used too soft of a compound?
