The -009 in that part number vs. the -005 that would be in your car. Hmmm. Maybe the Cap'n will see this and enlighten. Not sure if it's a later version of basically the same pump or completely useless in your 1.7

Says that it is an interchangeable part with the 005 and is listed as a part for a 914, so it should be a good spare if it works.

Basch ESI says 0 580 463 009 is Porsche 914 356 055 01 and was discontinued in 1995 ... replaced by 0 580 463 005.
