Craig trophied first time out. The guy's an AX animal
We had a nice day and had over 50 cars/drivers.
Craig (the animal), Jim, Dave, Bruce (sans 914), Mike(no guts/no drive) and one other fella who's name escapes me......so the 914 contingent was out in force.
I stunk up the joint, but Chuck did gud. Haven't done a tank slapper for a while so I took care of that today
Bruce ought to have some pics for us any day now.

Insteresting. I see Yoko AVS intermediates on the 1.7 but they look different on the wheels compared to what I'm used to seeing. Are they 195/50's or 205/50's ?? Anyone ??

everyone had a great time. the Boxsters out numbered the 914's & the tail draggers were as many as the Boxsters and then some.....
had a few spin outs & one M3 (Z3) did a 360

but, of course, I ran outta batteries at that moment so I didn't get the shot
Oh well, next time. CD's will be made for the guys at the AX that wants them. Craig is on a movie and his V8 sounds great. He even lost it goin sideways twice for a few seconds for the movie
enjoy the pics.........

Made it home safe and sound, thanks for the concern.
Thanks to all of the Portland guys. I had an absolute ball! The course was great fun and wasn't the puzzle to figure out that Bremerton was. I could find all the gates so I just got to drive (not too well). I never did get the far end close to right. there was a crown in the middle of the turn so the car unweighted then came down to off camber the rest of the way around. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get the car turned early enough so I was all over. I'm still too late braking (Bruce captured all the smoke in the Chicago box. But I'm still getting better.
Incidentally Bill in his 1.7 handed me my helmet. It may look like handful but he gets the car around really well.
The high point had to be 2 loops with JP in ULF. What an absolute blast! Thanks JP.
I finally understand the 6 thing. I can't really put it into words.
The Portland guys get business done, I got home before 4PM.
There was a price to pay for waking my wife up at 4:30 in the morning to say I was going to Portland. She was pretty pissed about me not telling her earlier so we could talk about it. It was worth it though for a ride in Ulf.
