So I woke up my car from its slumber.
All excited to take it for a ride...it started right up...wow.
All the tires were at full air pressure.
Changed the oil...ran great. Move it around the garage a few times, no issues.
I was thinking it was to easy.

So, I take off the roof, pull out to take a 2 mile ride to the store to check out the car...accel cable breaks right at the end of the driveway.....

At least I was still on my property...but damn.
Im gonna steal Abels cable in his wrecked car....it was new.

Its been so long since I last replaced it I had to think really hard to remember what could have fallen off at the pedal...hoping its that simple, but most likely its time for a new cable.

Something similar happened to me last spring. It broke in my garage as I was pulling out. It was a bummer because I really wanted to drive it.

I remember something about the end of the cable breaking off on mine. The hard part was getting in the position to work in the footwell.
