Can anyone let me know where do I connect the Voltmeter VDO Gauge so I can get the best reading... I am not to familiar with the electronics.. Is it in the fuse panel thanks...

For the best reading, run new wires to your battery. Any 12V+ switched wire will give you a good enough reading. Automotive voltage gauges do not have a fine enough callibration to worry about. You can compare the reading with a digital voltage meter (like a Fluke).

Just make sure your system reads between 13-14 volts at 2000 rpm. Most vehicle electrical charging systems do not make good voltage below 1500 rpm.
