I need to find replacement screws for the three that hold the headlight bezel to the buckets. PET lists this number, 341.941.183.A and a description of "oval head screw AM 4-8". First off, is there some significance to the 341 vs 901 vs 914 vs 900 prefixes. Secondly, what is this screw a #4 or 4MM x 8MM?

Number starts with a number 1, 2, 3 , 4....it's all VW
Starts with a 9 it's Porsche.
Even 911's have many bits that start with a VW number.
Some don't have the same number, but are the same parts....Type one and four cam thrust bearing is the same as the intermediate shaft thrust bearing in a /6 engine.
