So.. I set up the new windshield install...
based on everyone's advice I'm going to pull and reinstall the trim myself, as its pretty nice and I don't want the guy to ruin it...

I ordered and received all new trim clips which I will give the guy to install....

So my question now: Any tips or directions on doing the trim removal tonight... and reinstall tomorrow?

thanks everyone

Yep. You will still probably need to straighten the edge of the trim where it gets "clipped". You can do that one with some flat nose pliers since it is on the surface you can't see from the outside. Be patient and hand smooth the visual surface of the trim before clipping it in. Once it is in the new clips, you don't want to have to pull it back out again...

A nice wide stiff putty knife is handy for removal. Carefully!
