is there a REAL difference in power going from a complete stock djet 1.7 to a stock 2.0?

There's roughly a 20% difference in power between an equally well-tuned 1.7 vs 2.0. 80 hp vs 95 hp.

i think cases can be exchanged (bored to 2L) . 2 L have sodium filled exhaust valves, bigger valves, 3 intake manifold studs vs. 4. hmmm.....bigger bore, stroke, more power!

others will chime in on stuff i might have missed....

i drove both, a strong running 1.8 and a good 2.0 and, YES, you can feel the difference
