The engine is a RAT2270 with about 135hp.
Notice that you can easily hear me talking from the cockpit with the camera behind the car, and that the mechanical sound of the engine is much louder than the exhaust.
The drive by is in third gear with WOT and the general road noise is just as loud as the Spyder.
It would sound better if the valves were adjusted properly.

I told Lenny to adjust his valves at zero lash with those pushrods.... were they at .006?
The 2270 has come a long way since I did that one... Now we get 1500 more revs from them and another 25-30HP.

One valve was clearly tight when cold, judging by the popping. It settled down a bit as the engine warmed up but didn't go away completely.
At first I thought it was an exhaust leak, but it wasn't.
ouch....
I hope that shitty sysem he HAD on the car wasn't frying that valve- I warned him about that.
