Hey guys,

I did a search but didn't find anything. I just received my carb kit from CB but there isn't any mention in the instructions on what type of fuel pump and regulator I should get.

Could someone point me in the right direction, I was going to try and get by the parts store in the morning. They are the dual weber 40's.

Thanks,

jmill
CB rotary. It's internally regulated. Quiet and reliable.

Agreed with above. 95% of people will turn you on to that one, The others will probably say a cheap facet pump. Used carb pumps can be had for $20 but they are loud and not internally regulated. get the CB and be done with it.

I like the Pierberg I put in mine. I've heard good things about the CB too.

Odds are, the CB Rotary IS a Pierberg .........................

I agree. The Pierberg is great but more expensive than the old reliable Facet pump that has been sold for years and years. We of course have both in stock if your auto parts store does not. It is easier to get one of the correct pressure than to use a pressure reducer

Does the CB rotary have enough volume for a six with 40 webber's?

agree.gif What he said. I use 44idf Webers with a CB rotary for over 20,000 miles. Works fine...Lasts a long time.
