This is probably an off-the-wall, stuppie question, but that's never stopped me before!
what type of front spindle does the 914 have? Would they be 1) Standard Wright spindles; 2) Small Foddrill spindles; or 3) Foddrill spindles?
this isn't a trivia question
, I need to know
gracies, in advance!

Jim, thanks for the pic. That's actually much better than what I have of mine!!
In doing some research, I THINK I've discovered Foddrill & Wright are manufacturers of off-road VW spindles (that have unique dimensions/design) and suspension components. Thus, the more appropriate question for me to ask, I THINK, is:
which, if any, of the above three is the 914 spindle comparable with?
thanks, again!

914 spindles don't interchange in any way with VW spindles, as they're part of the strut made for the application.

That's what I thought!

Come on "lancelotIV" you left us hanging over on RoadGlue. At least you could post a link to the "jimkelly" post. Thanks.
