OK, so I'm getting ready to re-install the oil lines. There _has_ to be a fitting between the engine case and the main oil line. What are the dimensions, cause I don't have it any more....

My extra has a small nick in the threads, nothing a needle file couldnt correct, in addition to the crush washer I always use a dab of PTFE pipe sealant on the threads..

Looks like you got three people willing to give you one. Where else can you find this kind of love.

Can you post a picture of what fitting you mean? If it's the one near the bottom of the case... it also requires a sealing ring (read: malleable aluminum washer).
They're cheap, and available through the dealer. I *believe* the part number is 901 123 011 30. My reference is Porsche Classic, illustration 101-05.

Hey James!
Remember that snapped oil line I got from you? The piece you need was still attached. Kinda wondered if you needed that thing. The fact that it was firmly attached to the oil line is probably the reason for the snap in the first place.
Let me know if you'll need it back. It's nice to have, but I don't really need it.
Remember also that there are two sizes on the line end for those fittings. Early 911s (like pre-72) and 914-6s shared the smaller of the two, the thread pitch of which I do not know offhand. Just so you know.

Too cool! I thought the machine shop pilfered it...nope, I did it to myself...
Thanks. I got your e-mail too. I'll call you this afternoon.
Holy Crap, the blonds engine may be in the vehicle today!

If you can spare it, I actually need one for a 2.2 T engine I have...
