I know a guy who put 5 race cars and a street car (not 914s) on a transporter headed to the Atlanta event. The trailer caught on fire and everything burned to the ground. Major bummer!
The first car pictured above must be Andy York's car. It looks like he's made it even faster than before.

I think the red car is bobby dalstroms and the white one is tonys...
really good guys that I used to run with in colorado.....
they started with a nice street car as a joint project and over a 10 year period it morphed into those two small bores.....
nice cars and nice guys...
thanks for the shots.

The first car belongs to Andy McNeal. It is a twin turbocharged 3.6 or 3.8 tube frame wonder job. I have some pictures of the McNeal car under the skin but I will have to scan them in. When he was running a NA 3.4 he was turning low 1:20s at Road Atlanta. The red and white cars are not all that impressive. They are pertty slow. They were pitted next to us a couple of years ago at the same event.

yeah.. they aren't the fastest cars.. but tony's got nice attention to detail... and I think the motors are both really mild.. plust they are class 5 cars with only 2.2L..
tony moved from colorado.. and was in AZ then GA.. don't know if its FL or where now..
still they are big time 914 enthusiasts with home built cars...

Oops! Andy York is a PCA autocrosser, not a roadracer IIRC. My bad.
