Found an le with rust on the longs. Rough to ok shape otherwise. Slight flex. What might it be worth?

Handful of pictures there.
I am posting from my android phone so I can't post all the pictures but the are on photobucket link
mipstien
We are standing with the car so if anyone has any ideas it would be helpful.

Pic 1?

Pic 2?

I added links to the original one posted above and the hell hole. I cannot comment on price. It looks rough. Does it have the original wheels and air dam?
mipstien
Wheells yes air dam no.
There should be 6 pictures too.
Even a guesstimate on price
r_towle
If its a real LE....which you need to verify via the COA....
then maybe 1k...

It needs the full treatment, both longe repaired, a new sill, probably a new door jamb.
Hell hole is most likely shot.

Once its done, what is it worth? 10k, 15k?

Yeah, the wife was offered 10k for her creamsicle even though it needs paint and bodywork because the hellhole and longs are solid and it's original.
hot_shoe914
Last rusted, wrecked creamsicle I saw on Ebay brought 2250.00 and looked dead to me beyond repair. That was before the economy took a nose dive though.

I paid $1200 for mine, after being in storage for 20 years I needed everything done but at least the rust was not too bad, only the battery tray needed replacement.

Thanks for all the responses. I have bought the car. Please see this thread.

Thanks to mipstien for getting a truck and trailer to bring the LE home as well as making the trip with me. Made for a much more enjoyable trip.
He is now a happy 914 owner as well since he bought my '75. driving.gif

Thanks for posting the VIN. Jeff was the only person I contacted about this car when I first found it.

And, yeah, the "914" in the VIN is pretty cool.
