Does anyone make a quality Minilight looking wheel in 16" ? I have a set of 15"'sI can get my hands on ( I think ) but I would really like to go with a 16"

Also please post any pics of flared 914's with Minilights you may have. I'm pretty certain that is going to be my final decision, especially if I can get them in a 16", but I need to see it first.

And no.........I am nowhere near starting on MY car. Just planning and grabbing parts for now dry.gif Got the engine, got the flares, got the color, just need to decide on some body mods and wheels shades.gif

I really like mine, they look like they're nice quality too.

These are the guys who sell Superlite's in the US. http://www.vtoperformance.com/acatalog/Superlite_Wheels.html You need to call them to ask what sizes and offsets they have in stock. Ask for Terry.

i've seen photos here of cracked minilights and this makes me think for the street, that they may not be the best choice. for street nothing beats steel as steel bends and a sealed tire bead might still be retained but steel is limited on the looks and weight department.

Jim, these are replica Minilites and being new are pretty safe.

Anyone who runs real magnesium Minilites on the street is crazy (and has tons of money to burn since they are super rare and expensive).

Those wheels look sweet! just something about them that they look great! COTM shows them well too!

I love my 16 x7 Superlights. They were well liked at WCR this year too. I am running a 205 tire with no mods to the narrow body (I did fold the lip so as not to cut the tire but it was not required).

Blahblahblah, whatever Ski Patrol wink.gif .... I saw your avatar and couldn't resist.

On a serious note, I'm sure those look sweet, narrow fenders and 16x7 superlights, nice!!!

Gint spent a lot of time on this thread about superlights:

I don't think they're actually the same thing as Scotty B posted in post #2.

Whoops. You have these, don't you?

Performance Superlites

I really like them.

I planned on superlights but they didn't have a 8x15 size, only 8x16. I hunted down some 7x15 & 8x15 fuchs on pelican. Cost $700 for the set of 4. Superlites are cast, fuchs are forged - if that matters to you. Tires for the 15" wheels are getting very hard to find, though they are pretty cheap.
