914 at about 1:40 into it. Not the best start in the world.

Even a shot of a Datsun 510 in there. Had one through the mid eighties that was bumped up to a L20 motor, nice little holly/weber carb, bigger tires on steelies. Car looked like hell on the outside, but hey, it was my daily driver/park on the street in the Haight/Ashbury car. Good memories of taking the turn from Buena Vista West onto Fredrick and getting air under all four wheels. Good times.

I was looking (replayed a few times) at that carrier, but I think that they were all British, and not German.

Cool, thanks.

I wish we still had those dry, unflappable announcers that talked like that.

"They are not the enemy . . . . they are the competition"

Right. And some time around 2008 you, GM, are going to lose . . .

Yellow Orange and White on the top row. Interesting tape.

Too Bad that Pontiac didn't heed it's own warning. The whole video showed small foreign vehicles & bloated GM barges. At the end Pontiac looked like they had some good product, just as Oldsmobile did before it got the Ax.

Best line in the film - " Unemployed people can't buy Pontiacs"

Top level - several 914s. Not sure but they might have all been silver.
