These flares found their way to me. smile.gif

IBCSOB; but I'll be cleaning them up and making them match the car. This isn't going to happen for awhile, but I"ll update when I get around to actually doing something.

Have fun with the tape comments.

I vote for butyl tape with an electrical tape stripe.

Give it some contrast, use Blue Painters Tape

I have lead tape. You could corner balance at the same time.

I'd go with gaffer's tape as it won't leave a residue on the car and the flat black is HOT!

clean up the edges and mount them with some nicely spaced Pop Rivets. I have seen many 914s and 911s with FG flares mounted that way....looks kind of racey. biggrin.gif

Double sided tape, the kind that the cheapa$$ "auto enhancement" stores use to tape on those faggy side skirts to Chevy Cobalts.

It's 3M VHB tape part numbers 5962 and 4956F

...or sheet metal screws. Makes for easy removal. Use stainless so they don't rust.
