I've seen the alloy valve covers for type 4 by EMPI on ebay for $75 plus shipping.

A long time ago I saw a pair of cast aluminum covers with Porsche embossed on them. Since they are going to show 'big time' on the bike and my tank and cowling are aluminum.....I'm looking again!
