Any advise on selling a 914? My father has one in his garage that he was planning on restoring. 99% original (interior and body). What is the best way to sell it and get a fair price? thanks
For Starters.....
It is best to know what you have,
Year- Vin-ownership history/repairs/maint.... are starters..
Next..If you are unfamiliar with the cars...
find a 914 knowitall in your area to PPI
(inspect) the vehicle.....some of us will work for food and beer!!!
There are major rust areas on these, that you will get questions
as to their conditions......many of them hide ......
Be honest with your findings...
another way to approach, is read the ads here on cars for sale..
and get some ideas as to how sellers are representing and presenting them...
the more details the better........
the year and the model will determine your 'Popularity' of the demand
for the vehicle and it's 'saleability'..!
List add on and extras that will go with the sale of the vehicle.....
That is a start, Good Luck,...
