Searching for visably stock 73/74 2.0 & wouldn't complain about a little more in the performance department. My budget is in the 12-15k range depending on the car and I'd just assume pay on the higher end of my budget for exactly what I want...just haven't seen it "for sale" yet. I am particular however...here's a sample of the "must have"...

1. no existing rust or previous "major" rust/collision repair
2. new or newish carpet
3. no dash cracks,etc
4. no mods to interior (sub woofers, custom center consoles, ect)
5. fresh paint/respray must be original color unless it was full re-paint (all compartments, ect)
6. fuchs
7. fresh rubber/seals
8. minor engine mods (mild cam, lite flywheel, ect) would be of interest if done properly
9. "mild" suspension mods - a little lower and firmer

Thanks, Bill

Although it looks like it could use carpet, but thats reasonably cheap.

and Camp seems to be very trustworthy in our circle.

Didn't they have a really nice light ivory 73 or 74 recently too?

over the years I've probably seen 2 dozen cars come out of the camp... every one very nice, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Craig is a stand up citizen in the 914 community, imo.

Thanks all - I've corresponded with Craig regarding the white one and will take a look at the new one he has. Bill

He did have a 74' that I almost bought. He wound up finding me my current white 75' 2.0.

White's been a popular flavor for 914's recently.

That's exactly the one I jumped on here to suggest. Also CAMP914 now has a Marathon Blue Metallic/Black Int. 73 2L FS for about $9k IIRC (listed in FS here last night), but don't know condition "for reals" on either of these.

Yellow SF area one is original owner, which may be a plus - esp. for all the records from day 1. AA has some too, if you haven't looked there yet. You can also sign-up for Lycos notifications in any market areas of interest, & they'll notify from all sources.

BTW - it looks like the tan/brown are Coco or Sisal floor mats, so the carpet may be okay, or not - after all it is 37 years old! biggrin.gif

Good luck!

This is the one I mentioned. I know you weren't really looking for white. Still it's a nice ride
