Title says it. For years I've had this long box-end wrench that I've put in
a vise to put several bends in it, still doesn't work well. The heat exchanger
itself and the heads are really in the way of the nut on passenger side HE
that is closest to the front right.

Thanks,

IIRC, I use a 1/4" drive with two extensions and a U joint.

I use a creatively bent distributor wrench. In fact, it's cut and welded back together.

Bent a 12 mm wrench, then bought a set of Sears 1/4" drive swivel sockets ... great tool for getting at a lot of things.

I use, "You F***in' B**ch!" with an occasional "F*** YOU!!"

I find my swivel head wrenches, sockets etc., etc., help too - I think I have 10 of everything now in my search for one that works.

You have to hold your tongue just so to make it work!

As Betty always reminds me:

"It's not a good job till you cuss at it and bleed on it."

And she knows I reserve my profanity for the garage and when I am alone in the car.
