One of our customers purchased a set of Revolution wheels in the group buy about 4 years ago but hasn't driven the car yet.
He brought the car to us recently to finish up all the loose ends he hasn't found time to deal with.
We were surprised to discover that the front wheels were not mounted properly despite the fact that everything looked fine from the outside.
With the lugs torqued up, the wheel still wasn't in contact with the rotor face! unsure.gif
The hub centering counterbore in the back of the wheels isn't deep enough for the centering ring on the rotors, by more than 1/8". blink.gif
We had to remove the tires, machine the counterbores to .520" depth, then remount and balance.

Make sure to do all wheels, so that there's no tire rotation problems (ditto for any Mahle, Pedrini & Fuchs 2L Alloys ending in part no. ....-00 originally fitted without the inset for early pre-73 914s without the self-centering/"hubcentric" front hubs).

This is FYI to others, as I'm sure Chris did them all.
