I tried looking for one a couple years ago. if you do manage to find one, let me know cause I would like to try it on our "ZCorp" Prototype machine also.

I do have a four and five lug Fuch somewhere in my computer?

EDIT:

Found it!!! Not perfect or correct (didn't have one to take measurements from) but useable. The spots are the reflection from the chrome finish.

Here's the 5 lug fuchs I've been working on so I can machine the r/c wheels.

I should just 3d scan the wheel on my car and shrink it down.

Shoot, I don't know off hand, not my area. Not a high dollar one. Think it was 25K or so. The department that got it wanted an entry level unit too see how much business we could generate from it then step up to the 80K model.

It looks cool, we call it the soda machine, looks like a vending machine. I just emailed that next engine thing over the the model guys, glad we got a good printer, cause when it breaks, i'll have to fix it.

And I guess we got the SST version, so it has the water soluble supports.

Jeff,

are there any small object you'd like for me to try scanning and getting an STL file to you?

it's not an HD; and it was over-hyped when it was first released. (yes, it's a 3d scanner under the NARP emblems)

but I can try getting something for you next week.

Think it would do the 914 Matchbox?
RJMII
it just might. if I could convince myself to take it out of the package. biggrin.gif

The other matchboxes I tried were okay, but not superb. I'll give it a shot when we get back to town.

i'd love to have this equipment and be able to 'make' things off of our or any old cars.

o the possibilities.
