how do you remove the headlights? also im trying to remove the gas tank any tips?

Going from memory, you need to:

1. turn the key to on and turn on the headlights, then turn off the key
2. pop the hood and remove the plastic cover by the headlight
3. remove the relay (for safety)
4. remove the plastic housing
5. remove the 3 screws that hold the trim ring on (these may be rusty or stripped)
6. pull out headlight and disconnect plug


For the gas tank,

1. disconnect the battery
2. siphon the gas out
3. remove the overflow tank
4. disconnect the fuel sender plug
5. disconnect the metal strap
6. lift up the passenger side and prop up with a piece of wood
7. disconnect the fuel hoses
8. remove
