Hmmmm, good luck with that one.

You know, this sounds suspiciously like the illusive 1975 6 cylinder Grasshopper 916 that Porsche built on a whim that you only hear about in rumors in the backroom of PCA concour events from the old guys who spent time in Germany. I wish I had the million or so dollars it will take to buy it.

Lost is the fun of driving such an object....

If its the real deal, awesome for that guy. My friend restores 356's and I remember he was brought a '67 912 3 years ago with under 5,000 miles on it! It had been taken to PCA events for a couple years then put in a bubble and stored ever since. I love to sit in and look under cars like that, don't forget that old german new car smell.
