"I have a 1975 914 2.0 4752907927 with 1141 original miles. climate controled storage since 1975. need to get her up to date and running. would someone please give me a good word on where to place the 4 jackstands to remove all tires wheels and the best place to place the jack itself since i will not be using the original jack. thank you so much."

You know, this sounds suspiciously like the illusive 1975 6 cylinder Grasshopper 916 that Porsche built on a whim that you only hear about in rumors in the backroom of PCA concour events from the old guys who spent time in Germany. lol-2.gif I wish I had the million or so dollars it will take to buy it. sad.gif

If its the real deal, awesome for that guy. My friend restores 356's and I remember he was brought a '67 912 3 years ago with under 5,000 miles on it! It had been taken to PCA events for a couple years then put in a bubble and stored ever since. I love to sit in and look under cars like that, don't forget that old german new car smell.

I saw that & just assumed that he missed typing in some digits,
... or else doesn't realize that there's at least a 10 in front of that 1141! biggrin.gif
