On eBay are ads for kits with IDs of 32/36 DFEV/DFAV and just DFV. Would there be any difference in these kits are is DFV a genneric version thereob.

The best tune up kit for it is a .357 magnum at close range. That really opens up the jets;)

I used a 12ga dbl barrel on the FI I had and it didn't help.

DFV is a manual choke. others are automatic choke..

Had one years ago on a 1.7 I used to own.....the best kit for it is to "overhaul" it to the bank of a lake and give it the "float test".......if it sinks....walk away.....

The diff between a dfev and dfav is the type of choke. One is electric and the other uses water temp. These may not be great on our Porsche's but they are awesome on small engines with water cooled intake manifolds.
