I'm due for front wheel bearings and from what I can tell the install is pretty straightforward. My car was converted to 5-lug hubs/rotors with 911 brakes. I imagine these use different wheel bearings than the stock 914 bearings?

They use 911 front wheel bearings smile.gif, good news is that they are available at local FLAPS.

Its hard to get these bearings out without damaging the hubs, last time we actually welded to the race to shrink it and it falls out...

I'm crossing my fingers that getting them out won't be too difficult.

While the bearings are readily available (think VW Bus), the seals will have to be sourced at a specialty supplier. Might try GPR.

If not GPR, then try HPH, AA, PP/Automotion, Pelican & Sierra Madre Coll., as they had both 911 & 914 seals & bearings last time I looked.

Ahhhhhh... this clears up a lot. You have 911 hubs.

Yes, fairly easy with the proper tools. All common bearings and seals.
